Graduated from Liverpool University In 1988 with an honours degree in Law (LLB (Hons)), attended the IPLS at Queens University Belfast and was admitted as a solicitor in 1990. Since then he has been practising from present office and has been a partner within the firm since 1997.

Kieran specialises in a number of areas to include:

Kieran has been involved in many high profile criminal and civil cases and has a great deal of experience in such cases. Kieran represents a wide range of individuals and companies in both Plaintiff and defence litigation.

Colm was employed as a law clerk since 1988. He returned to University in 2000 and subsequently attended the IPLS at Queens University Belfast following which he was admitted into the Roll of Solicitors in 2005. Colm has been a partner within Toal and Heron since 2008 having been an employee prior to that since 1997.

Colm has amassed a wide degree of experience in all aspects of Property law and Probate to include:

  • Conveyancing & Tenancies
  • Wills and Probate
  • Contract Law
  • Liquor Licensing
  • Personal injuries and other civil litigation

Colm Heron is well known in these areas of practice and is registered on the Co-ownership scheme, Lender’s panels and represents a large variety of private and corporate clients.

Brenda graduated from Law (LLB Hons) in 2000 going on to obtain a Masters in Human Rights Law in 2002 (LLM Hons) at Queens University Belfast.

She was admitted as a Solicitor in 2006 and has been with the firm since then. Brenda has been practising primarily in all aspects of Family Law to include:

  • Divorce and financial settlements
  • Cohabitation and Separation
  • Spousal Maintenance
  • Domestic violence
  • Injunctions and Protection from Harassment
  • All Children Order matters including Contact, residence and care proceedings
  • Representation at Family Proceedings Court, Family Care Centre and High Court

Brenda has been accredited to the Law Society Children’s Order panel since 2009 and is a member of Northern Ireland Guardian-ad- Litem panel. She also actively practices in various areas of civil and criminal law.
